Kitchen Light Ideas

1920S ENGLISH PENDANTS

In this Connecticut kitchen, the island features a high of honed Carrara marble, the wall tiles are by Waterworks, the cooker is Viking, and the stools are by York Street Studio; the 19th-century Windsor chair is a family heirloom, and also the 1920s English pendants are out of BK Antiques.

LEATHER PENDANT

At a country house in Uruguay, the kitchen's pendant light is leather, the ceiling beam is a classic railroad track found in a nearby area and the floor is tinted cement tile.

BURSTING PENDANT

The dining table and chairs are by DimoreStudio, the Sputnik ceiling lighting is by Fedele Papagni, along with the marble flooring is original to the 1970s construction in this Monte Carlo apartment. The artworks in the dining area are by Pierre Le-Tan.

Industrial Pendants

Three isn't necessarily a crowd. At a mountain escape, a trio of Shaw pendants by Urban Electric Co. hang within the custom made island.

Painted Pendant

To improve a period house's refined kitchen, designer Nina Farmer customized an Urban Electric Co. pendant. The fixture is tied by A coat of Farrow & Ball's Stony Ground to the rest of the room that is subdued.

Rattan Pendant

A natural texture can add the perfect finishing note. The Palecek rattan pendant in this kitchen seems "old-school Florida," designer Andrew Howard states.
